Thousands of years ago, a crew of ten brave scouts left their dying world of Lyra on a desperate mission to find trees that could save their planet. They traveled across the galaxy, took a risky shortcut through a mysterious wormhole, and crash-landed on a world covered in water—a planet the cats would come to call the Great Wet Ball.
But the wormhole did more than transport them across space. It sent them back in time. Stranded in ancient Egypt, the scouts couldn't complete their mission. They were worshipped, pampered, and adored by the humans who treated them like gods. They lived their lives, raised their families, and passed their stories down through generations. And when the last of the original crew passed, the Egyptians built the Sphinx to honor them—burying the broken starship beneath its mighty paw, where it would wait for millennia. And thus began the origin of cats on this planet.
The plan was always to keep the memory alive. To tell the stories. To pass the mission from parent to kitten, from generation to generation, so that one day, when the time was right, a cat would remember. A cat would awaken. A cat would find a way home. But the mission became legend. Myth. A bedtime story for kittens. A “fairytail”.
Until one day, a small orange cat named Muffin was born on a quiet farm. He was a creature of routine. He was chaos incarnate. He was a cat.

When Muffin is adopted by a young girl named Daisy and her skeptical family, he begins to remember. Through dreams, drawings, and a growing connection with his humans, Muffin uncovers the truth: the cats of Earth are not from here. They are aliens. The stories were real. And their homeworld is dying.
Now, with the help of his family, a loyal dog named Buster, and cats from around the world, Muffin must complete the mission his ancestors started millennia ago. He must find the starship. He must save Lyra. And he must find his way home.
